<&ShipLCARS> Last Time: Tonight we pick up after the briefing. Every department has something to prepare for tonight, please see your department heads if you haven't read the briefing log. We are just preparing for the mission start tonight, First Force, you'll be heading out at sim end with Kirk.
<&ShipLCARS> Bombers will be heading out in logs and Enterprise will come in at sim start next week. Type ACK here and please join #EntyOOC for all OOC chat.
<&ShipLCARS> This Week: First Force has been in place for the last 48 hours and all three teams have picked out targets. Bombers have launched and have started to engage the planetary defenses. Enterprise will be moving out shortly. All crew is at duty stations and wrapping up and last minute things. Fighters will launch as soon as we drop from warp and First Force will paint any hit first targets by hand.
<&ShipLCARS> Security will transport down as soon as we enter orbit, along with an NPC Marine Platoon, and all ground forces will assault any leadership buildings or scientific research centers. As soon as the ways clear, Science will transport to the surface and get us all the information to plan a way home finally. Type ack here and join #EntyOOC if you haven't already.

First Force having been in position on the planet close to 48 hours began their attack.
EnsMcAnnigan[ACHelm] (as played by Lexx) moved the Enterprise toward the homeworld under the CO and XO’s orders (Whom both for sometime were on the bridge.) SCPOCorbin[DC] coordinated with the other chiefs.

CrmnVonSteiner[SecSpec] preped the security team that would go down to the surface and help First Force, and lead up to the Science teams coming down to retrieve data.

When the Enterprise was in range, the fighting began. EnsAndros[ATac] fired while McAnnigan kept the ship from being hit as best as possible.

Not long after, the ship was boarded by unwanted guests. The XO along with VonSteiner went to show the unwanted guests the back door, but ended up transporting them into the temp bring that they had constructed in cargo bay two.

With the constant hits being taken to the shields, EnsFreeman[AEO]> kept busy in Eng.

Finally the Enterprise managed to take care of any immediate dangers from ‘unwanted guests’ boarding the ship and outside firing.



(Which leaves logging off to VonStroner followed by Security and the XO followed by Marines(npc) to beam down to the surface to assist First Force. Science will be brought down soon.)
