FAREWELL

The Enterprise has both a tradition and a future--and we look with pride and confidence in both directions.
I hope each of You continue to serve with the best crew in the fleet and the best ship of the line.
I jave had the blessing to work with most of you, and recently have been unable to fully carry out my assignment do to the troubling and unsettling world we live in. I make this decision not half-heartedly, but of sound mind. I am no longer able to give the kind of dedication this group deserves. I have learned so much.....laughed at times and have even learned that while we are all different, we can combine ideas and personalities to create a master piece.
I feel a couple good naval phrases are in order:

Good Luck, Good Hunting.

I wish You fair winds and a following seas.

And please remember no matter what "DONT GIVE UP THE SHIP!"
