Greets All,
As you guys have noticed I have slowed down a bit in my logging. This is in part to see where the sim sits. If I am putting out 10 logs a week every week it is hard to see where everything sits. In my lull there has been plenty that could have been continued without me and logs really could have kept coming.
It really distresses me that out of 20 people on the sim, that is actual players, we have 11 logs, 3 of which are mine, and that is from 9 of 20 people folks!!!
Where is everyone? I've seen 1 excusal in 2 weeks, no LOAs and no e-mails to the command tam about being lost or not knowing what to log. So, where is everyone?
We need to pull it together folks, this just does not work how things are right now. There are 4 joint logs that I am in and 1 encompasses all of the senior staff, I know I've been a hold up there. However, this is not a bubble, pull your fellow simmers into j/ls, they do not even need to be duty, they can be off duty guys. Simmings supposed to be done with more then one person but I have not seen you guys even interacting.
This is kind of like spotting the hot guy or that hot girl that you have a mad crush on, if you do not step up to the plate and take the initiative no one is going to do it for you. If you do not take the initiative in doing j/ls with others chances are you wont be in a j/l, it is human nature to work like this, even in the real world, you do not get noticed unless you step up.
If I seem a little upset it is because I am. Some of you are on or head other games and are active, I even see the nick changes for some of those games. But all I see here are sage brush weeds blowing through. EVERYONE needs to be putting out a minimum of 1 log per week or e-mailing for an excusal WEEKLY if you can not.
I got word from a hospital bed with my back out that I'd be offline guys, it takes 30 seconds to a minute to say "hey, I'm lost" or "hey, can't log this week." If you don't ask "I don't know" is not a valid excuse. If your lost, check out this link:

While the ship is traveling that is 50 things you can log and even joint log, it is in the ships wiki. There is also the research stuff for the mission each of the departments have, most of it the departments working together.
Enterprise in the Trek universe is the lead ship, they find and get dibs on everything. We should be performing at least minimally, AT LEAST, due to the name in the genre we sim.
Ok, speech is over. Now, I need EVERYONE who want's to stay with the sim to e-mail enterprise-commans@ucip.org no later the Sunday at 2359 EST.
By Tuesday, I expect to see a minimum of 20 logs and/or excusals/LOAs for those who do not log.
We can easily do this folks, I'm in my last 6 months of my degree and writing a paper every week while working on a final research paper every class. We all have RL stuff, but, we all can communicate what's going on too or log. This is a game and supposed to be fun, but, trying to create the game and keep i going when noone participates is as demoralizing as if I just disappeared and left the sim hanging.
So, come on guys, let's pull it together.
