Personal History Born August 3, 2375, in Richmond Virginia. To Mathius and T'Lae Kri House. Not at all a normal marriage or joining to start with considering that his mother was in the Romulan Tal Shiar. Originally sent as an ambassador to Starfleet, with the particular task of killing his father. Whom at the time was an Intelligence officer investigating the Romulan-Federation neutral zone for reports of cloaked sensor dampening fields being set up in a growing attempt for a first strike on the outposts along the Federation side. She was suppose to get close to him, gain his trust and ultimately kill him in his sleep and it be ruled as medical complications. However, time progressing she fell in love with him and could not carry out her mission. Defecting from the Romulans, whom many of those on the council and Tal Shiar, she had enough dirt on to blackmail them into keeping her alive. Letting her continue her new found life but never again permitted to return to Romulus or any other planet under control of the Romulan Star Empire. She made one stipulation in agreeing to these terms. Were she to have any offspring that they do not carry her dishonor should they wish to see the planet she came from. They reluctantly agreed. At first it was thought, and her hope, that James would not carry any of her physical traits.

Though at birth it was very clear he had inherited her ears. It seemed as though he did not have any sign of her facial ridges. Which she found as a blessing. It meant that there would be much less of a problem him fitting in. His sister was born 3 years after he was and for her she got the full blessing her mother wished for. She only had and developed slight points to her ears. Once he reached the age of one year there were signs that they were developing and continued to do so to a certain degree. This in which caused particular social problems for him. Specially when he got older and into school to the point where children were not children but they had opinions, prejudice, and knew what he was. Half breed, freak, traitor, that bitches spawn, were just some of the names he's been called. This also caused many fights, some of which the 'bullies' were put in the hospital over, even being out numbered. Aside from..spending numberous occasions in jail because of it, for the ones he did start, he mostly kept to himself. He did have a few friends growing up but as with all chastised children or young adults they were also 'outcasts.' Though that never bothered him. They were the ones he could confide in, have fun with. They would be invited over many times during the summers for barbecues, which also for those was when James was learning to cook with his father. After high school James thought about going into the Starfleet Engineering Corps. Talked it over with his parents. His father was mostly indifferent, as it was James' decision. However, his mother was absolutely furious. She knew the types of turmoil and tribulations she and Mathius had to go through, and she would not hear any word of it. He did anyway for a year. This caused a number of fights between them in which, James left home for 3 years doing odds and ends. Before finally enlisting in Starfleet. Grasping the 98th percentile at the academy. Once he graduated, he finally got in contact with his family again. After that much time his mother was just happy to know he was okay and approved of his choice. In that particular time, his sister, Lina, had chosen a much different path. She became a weather mechanics and technician specialist.

Outside of Starfleet. In which, she found Jackson during a crisis with one of the weather regulation satellite orbiting Earth. They spent much time together, and every time she brought him home for holidays there was a fight. Not with her parents, however. It was with James. He not at all approved of this man being with his baby sister. Several years one or the other of them ended up in the hospital. If that says anything about just how skilled Jackson was, to be able to take down James, even with James' unique physiology. Eventually they started to get along after she married Jackson. Come to find out they had a lot in common. Time went on and James started with his career. Moving from ship to ship and position to position. Up in the ranks, not to quickly, but quick enough. Exceptional skill and strategy were a good factor having gotten the ships he served on out a number of messes when no one else could. After a long time spent on the USS Omega as her XO he was finally put up for a command. After a time he was promoted to the CO of the USS Griffin. Since her destruction, he has spend time on earth at the Academy as an instructor. Now moved back to active duty on the USS Enterprise.
