He is not very muscular, and has what he would describe as a normal build, although he is working on changing that as he has begun to hit the holodeck each day for a workout in hopes of improving his build and gaining some more muscles. He has light blue eyes, and a scar on the left side of his body from an accident when he was a young boy. He also has a tattoo consisting of 5 stars and a blue planet on his back, near his left shoulder to signify his 5 brothers and his parents who raised them all. |

| General Overview | Joesph tends to be viewed as a very easy going, and cautious person who is not afraid to speak his mind. He takes most things as the come up, and is never one to suggest the most aggressive path as the best course of action, but he understands sometimes that path is necessary, although he will calmly try to get his point across. He is relaxed and laid back, although situations can cause him to tense up especially if he feels there is alot of pressure on him, but a few quick breaths can calm him down, enabling him to get back to work. His family is very important to him, probably the most important thing to him, and for those people who he considers his family he treats them like such, and would do anything to protect them from harm. | |
| Strengths & Weaknesses | Joesph is one that tends to analyze a particular problem carefully, which he views as both a positive and a negative as he sometimes misses obvious problems or solutions due to him over analyzing a situation looking for a more obscure problem. He however can manage multiple different tasks at once, somehow understanding the various different items that might require his attention, and is able to quickly classify them in order of importance. | |
| Ambitions | Joesph has not real over arching ambition or goal at the present time. Being fresh from the Academy he is more interested in just seeing what is actually out there in terms of Starfleet, and getting an overall view of things. He just wants to settle in to his role on the Enterprise, hopefully getting an understanding of a few of the different departments work. He is more then willing to head back to the Academy for some advanced training if a different department catches his interest, but for now he just hopes to serve the Enterprise as best he can. | |
| Hobbies & Interests | Joesph is more laid back in what he enjoys, although he is starting to get more into outdoor activites and more physical activites. While he is starting to get into them, he is still most at home sitting back in his quarters, reading a good book while soft music plays in the background. He also knows how to play the guitar, and the piano. He does not mind the occasional debate about various issues, but is normally quick to see both points of view, and understanding both points. | |

| Personal History | Joesph was born in the small town of Wolfville, Nova Scotia on Earth and was raised ever since day one to appreciate what he had in life. He was the oldest of the six children of Victoria and Peter, earlier on he realized that there was a much bigger world to explore then just the small town he was growing up in. He had no idea about Starfleet until about age 5 when he started heading to school in Halifax, where he was constanly being introduced to new ideas about what life was like outside of the small town he was from. His interest in exploring all then the universe had to offer was born at that time, and it quickly began growing into so much more. He first expressed a desire to join Starfleet when he was 8, which scared his parents a little, as they had both lost siblings on board Starships and they really did not want there baby to be another casulaty when exploring the universe. They knew however that it was a worthwhile career, and they were not going to surpress the dreams of Joesph no matter what they might think of his choice, part of them hoped he would grow out of this desire and move into something else, something that wouldnt take him across the universe. That was not to be however. As soon as Joesph became a teenager his interest just exploded, he begin taking every advanced studies course he could, hoping that he would learn enough and perform well enough to be accepted into the Academy, where his dreams of being an officer in Starfleet could be realized. This dream did come true, as on his 18th birthday he got the notification that, yes, he was accepted into the Academy to start in the fall. This news was met with muted excitement by his parents, who still held fear that something would happen to their son in what they considered the great unknown, but they were happy for him because his dream had came true. On the same day he found out he was accepted, he got his first, and only tattoo to signify the bond he had for his parents, them being his world, and his five brothers being the stars of his world. In the academy, his curiosity was satisfied in part by all the new information that seemed to be thrown at him on a daily basis, but it never ceased to grow each and every day to replace the part that was satisfied. His academy journey was mostly uneventful, he didn't finish the top of his class, he performed well understanding the concepts and his role on the ship, and in the federation. Do not take his academy record as a indication of his ability though, he is ready to acheive in the federation, while discovering the universe and himself in the process. |
