| Personal History | Gavin Colins was born on earth to Matthew and Amy Colins. He was brought up in a fairly weathy family and so has learned the proper manners for being around other people. Around the age of four his parents started taking him to the park regularly. He was fasinated by the different kinds of play equipment, but also the trees, the grass, and all the different bugs. He would catch many kinds of bugs and hold them hostage as he figured out and wrote down what was different. At the age of five his parents took him to school for the first time. He was amazed by all the people there. He would always pay attention to the teacher during his time in elementry school. It wasn't til he was seven that he started hanging out with all the cool kids. One day he went to school and they had him drop one of the nerds pants in a toilet. He did and got expelled from the school the next day. His parents were furious and demanded that he go to military school. He agreed and was taken the next day. He met his military instructor, Major Vince Wilson. They soon became best friends because of Gavin's love for the military. During this time Gavin decides that he will graduate from the military academy instead of normal school. He believed that graduating from there would open up more horizons. At the age of sixteen he made a decision that he would not soon forget when he told his instructor that he wanted to go to starfleet. The instructor was amazed by the ambition that the kid had because not many that go through there ever think about attempting a feat such as this. Major Wilson agrees with Colins and signs a slip that will allow for him to take a practice test later that year. When he took the test he got a B+, he was so elated with happyness that he went around telling everyone. During his senior year of military school he took the real entrance exam and got an A-. He knew then that his dreams would be coming true. It is now that his story will begin with his first post aboard the USS-Enterprise. To be continued... |
