| Personal History | Alysoun Lilani Scaithanna does not remember her early life. The life she does remember is the one that includes her adopted family. Aly was adpoted when she was five by Lance and Meav Sca¡thanna, from Dublin, Ireland. She grew up as the younger sister of twins Peter and Paul, who were very protective of her when she was younger. Knowing that one day she was going to have to prove to them that she could take care of herself, she learned tae kwon do from an elderly Japanese man that she would help every week. She quickly showed her brothers that she knew how to defend herself from the bullies at school and they let her have more freedom. She did tell them that she appreciated them guarding their "little Alygold." She had been given the nickname by her adoptive father, because of her golden skin. When Aly turned 18, she expressed her interest in joining Starfleet to her parents. They were hesitant at first, but eventually gave her their blessing. Soon, she was packed and then she was at Starfleet Academy. After passing all the beginner classes, she decided to do the Operations tract at the Academy. She had always had a knack for things like that due to her helping her parents with their small business back home. She quickly proved efficent in all her classes and graduated with honors. |
