| Personal History | Marcelle Roberts and her twin brother Marcus were born to Vice Admiral Jason Roberts and Commander Carrie Roberts on board the USS Enterprise G. His father was the ships CO and his mother was an Assistant Medical Officer when the two met. They hit it off almost right away and were married soon after. It was a few years later they had their twins, while on a diplomatic mission to Phomme III. The twins came into life during a terrorist attack by those Louphomme who did not want to join the Federation. This was just a view of how they would grow up. Enterprise was always assigned to the edge of known space and eventually the Delta Quadrant, so things were always anything but calm. Marcelle and her brother were exposed to everything from diplomatic functions to raids on the ship to ghosts and interdimentional beings. Through it all, their parents were always there for them and both learned to not only respect Starfleet but other cultures as well. Jason worked a lot and often brought Nicky, Jasons adopted son, Marcus and/or Marcelle to work with him. This helped Marcelle to decide what he wanted to do from an early age, grow up and serve in Starfleet like his parents. This' a goal she worked towards, even after his parents separated. Eventually she made it to the Academy where things quickly changed for her. Her grandfather, Uncle, Father and Mother had all been involved in the 2nd Dominion War. Her Father and Uncle were both First Force, her Father having been First Forces head since the beginning, and her Father had coordinated an all out final attack across all four Quadrants to bring an end to the war and was even on the Enterprise bridge leading it into battle. Marcelle was offered a seat as a fighter pilot in the middle of her first year due to her aptitude for helm and other Bridge posts, all of which are required as a pilot. She accepted but also requested a branch transfer to the SFMC. This surprised the Academy staff after her brother Marcus refused offers to become First Force or a Marine, but the request was granted. In addition to piloting, Marcelle ran for Force Recon certification and all the fighter certs she could get. This extended her training out past her brothers, though she graduated not long after he did and was assigned to Starbase Versailles as a Fighter Pilot for the MEU there. |
