| Personal History | Rowyn is a half-Human, half-Betazoid male whose father is an ambassador for the Federation and whose mother is a Professor for the Medical tract at Starfleet Academy. They met when Rowyn's father was attending a conference on Earth and instantly feel in love. Three standard Earth years later, Rowyn and his twin brother Alyn, were born. Rowyn grew up on Earth, in Ireland, with his grandmother. The reason for this is his parents were constantly busy with assignments from Starfleet. He grew up with a love for nature and a passion for dance. He attended a college for dance and graduated first in his class. He then found a passion for helping people and decided to attend Starfleet Academy and study medicine. He applied and was accepted. This would be the first time he had seen his mother in 18 years. While he was growing up in Ireland, he found out that he was different from other boys. When the other boys would talk about which girl he liked, Rowyn would be thinking how cute the guy that was currently talking was. He went to his grandmother and confessed this to her. She supported him in everything he did and told him that she was not about to change her way of thinking. When he went to teh Academy, he went and told this to his mother as well. The reaction from her was totally different. She yelled at him, contacted his father with the news that she had just received. then disowned him right then and there. He was emotionally crushed. He immediately went and contacted his grandmother, telling her what had transpired. She said that no matter what happened, he was always her grandson. | |
