Mission: First Force/Task Force Command - Inspection Tour

It'd been a day since Jason and Team 3 had set off from Enterprise. He'd spent most of his time in his cabin doing the Admiral thing, filling out reports and pushing PADDs. His mind would wander to Melissa like he was a love sick teen waiting for class to get out every time he felt the medallion on his chest, and the thoughts always brought him a smile. A beep at his console pulled him from his thoughts and work and he sat up on the small wall mounted bunk to look over, "computer, display incoming message."

The computer beeped and a few seconds later a face of a blue skinned man who was reminiscent of an Earth crocodile appeared, "please, to any passing ships, we require assistance. A hostile force has taken our government hostage and we have no military or trained police agencies."

Jason knitted his eyebrows and stood up, "computer, open a channel," he called and waited for the telling tone before standing up, "this is Vice Admiral Jason Roberts of the Enterprise Task Force, I have received your signal and am prepared to assist, please reply."

It took a minute but the recording on the screen was replaced by a live feed, "oh thank you. I am Commissioner Ransi, head of the police agency. We are a peaceful people, we don't know how to handle this," he said, his blue complexion starting to turn lighter as he started to get more agitated.

Jason held up his hand and offered a supportive smile, "it's alright Commissioner, I have a Team who specializes in just this sort of thing," he replied, "please transfer any information you have as well as all building schematics and we will arrive in two hours."

Ransi nodded and exhaled, which sounded like a high pitch whistle through the rows of razor share teeth, "thank you, sending now," he replied and typed something off screen, "we shall await your arrival."

The screen blanked and Roberts let the information download then slapped his comm badge, "Roberts to McCormick, come to three four two mark two one and engage at warp seven...LeBranche, assemble your Team in the conference area," he called then stood and pulled on his BDU blouse and headed out into the main area.
