Mission: Winds of Change
Location: HQ Arboretum

Brea was in her office, even though they were on R and R she really had a bit of work to keep up with or else she would end up backed up when she returned. A slight frown as she wished she was actually at the quarters with her new found family. Her console came to life almost on it's own and she looked at the Doctor. " How can I help you Commander?" She said with a respectful tone.

The Commander offered her a smile as he nodded to her, " I am just contacting you to inform you that you have been scheduled for your surgery in two days time at oh-nine-hundred hours... We understand that it is far over due..."

Brea nodded as she listened, " I understand Commander, the delay was however not of my control..."

" I understand Leutenant.. I will see you then..."

" Thank you Commander..." She watched as the image faded and her quarters were once again silent. Her lips pursing together as she was a mix of emotion at the moment.

Archer had returned to the station from the surface after requesting a small island in the middle of the lake for the night. He made his way to Breas temporary office and poked his head in, "still working?"

Her head lifted and looked over to him, a soft smile forming when she locked eyes. " I was just about to go off duty General... Is there something I can help you with?" Her tone was professional, but the look she gave him most certainly was not.

"Well, as your CO I am declaring you off duty," he replied with a wink, "the girls are at the sitters nd. have a surprise for you."

" Well... As your counselor..." Slowly she stood from the desk, a grin forming on her lips as she moved over to him and trailed a finger down the front of his uniform. " I am declairing that you are in need of a much beeded meeting with me..."

He grinned, "well, who am I to disobey the Counselor?" he asked with a wink and put his hand lovingly over hers, "ready to be away from everyone for the next day or two?" he asked softly and led her out and towards the transporter room.

" I am... However, I will have to be back by 0900 hours in a couple days for my surgery... I finally got a call with the appointment..." She looked into his eyes, he made her strong enough not to worry too much about it. " If that is ok..."

"Aye," he rplied and kissed her hand before he reached up and took her comm badge then his and handed them to the transporter chief, "we'll contact through a public terminal if we need anything," he said to both the chief and Brea then squeezed her hand, "on your order," he said with. smile.

She looked to the Transporter Chief and nodded, giving them the signal to energize and soon she felt the familiar tingle and then the blue light surrounded them. Transporting them to the area the General had notified the Chief to send them too.

"We'll have a bit of a hike then a quick rowboat ride," he explained after they had been transported to the arboretum on the planet, then kissed her deeply, "ready?"

Her lips locked with his as she kissed him back, nodding once it was broke. " I am ready as always General..." She rolled the 'r' that time.

He grinned, "good," he replied, a shiver running through him when she rolled the 'r'. He led her down the path, the air filled with the sweet smell of flowers and other foliage. They soon were at the water and a wooden row boat that had a bundl of flowers from Romulus in it.

A smile formed as she spotted the flowers in the boat. " James... What have you got planned here?" Reaching down she took the bundle and burried her face into the blooms. " Beautiful..." She whispered, barely audible for him to hear here as she took a seat and set the flowers down again.

"You'll see," he said with a smile then kissed her before sitting down. After a few minutes they approached an island that had been prepared to look like it was from the coast of the Apex sea on Romulus, lightly forested and green grass carefully manicured covering the ground and a white, sandy beach leading to th water.

Her eyes widened as she took in the sights of the island. " Oh wow..." Once they were docked she stepped from the boat and smiled. " Oh this is wonderful....After what happened to get you back... I really needed this..." Her eyes once again settled onto him.

Archer smiled and rested his hands on her hips, "well, after what you pulled to rescue me and get me and my mother out I had to do something for you," he said softly, Brea and First Force coming in to the pirate bar just as the pirates found out about the bounty on the Archers, "there's one more thing. I got them to build something from a photo," he added then led her up to the center of the island and showed her the house he'd aske them to build that look like her childhood home situated on the top of a hill overlooking the island.

A light flush came to her cheeks as she listened to his reasons, " Oh wow..." Her breath caught again as she moved towards the house, she had not been back to his home since she was a small child, before her father was assigned to Earth. " Oh... Oh James!" There was a genuine smile as she turned to look at him. " This magnificent! For me?"

"Aye, el'lev," he replied softly and smiled before moving over and picking her up, one arm under her legs and one around her back, "the great part about the UCF is there are people who know Romulan achitecture first hand," he added then carried he through the door, "I ha them not instll n comms though."

Her hands moved around his neck as he carried her into the home, a light grin once her feet touched the floor of the stone structure home. " This is a very VERY pleasant surprise e'Lev.... I fear I almost feel as though I now owe you..." Looking back at him.

"You don't owe me anything," he whispered and smiled then ran his fingers through her hair, letting it fall around her shoulders, "you saved my...our children," he said, smiling when he corrected, "me and my mother, if anything I still owe you. I would still have awards for you, but i don't want to seem like i am giving favore, so, I did this instead, I want you always to be happy."

The hands that were once around his neck were slowly moved down to his hands and took them lightly. " The greatest award that I received from what happened was you are alive and well... I could ask for nothing more then that E'lev..." A hand moved to his cheek and rested lightly. " How is your mother? Is she fairing well?"

He smiled and closed his eyes as he took in the warmth of her hand, "as far as I know. Intel is still debriefing her and my father is on his way to see her. That may make both Dominion Wars seem like a playground tiff," he replied then grinned and slid his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him, looking deep into her eyes.

" Are your father and mother not the best at getting along?" The hand that was at his cheek lightly caressed as she moved slowly backed towards where she knew the living room shoul be, lightly guiding him by his hands.

He let her lead him and shrugged, "for the last thirty five years she let us all believe she was dead, and didn't tell my father he had twins with her. I don't think it'll go well," he replied, not taking his eyes from hers.

" So..." She took a seat back onto the couch and pulled him to sit next to her, " You're twin is the Fleet Commander... And I think if there is any love between you're Father and Mother it should go smoother then you think." Waiting for him to sit before she took his hand again. " We've had our own spats, but because we love each other we worked through them."

"Aye," he replied with a smile and squeezed her hand lovingly as reds and yellows from the sunset coming through the glass filled the room and he leand into kiss her deeply.

Brea smile against his lips and pressed into him, her arms moving to wrap around his neck. Pulling back just a bit to look into his eyes and offer him the smile she'd been holding this whole time. " Thank you so much for doing this e'lev... It does not go under appreciated..." Leaned in again and her lips were pressed agains his. All emotion and love she had for him bleeding into it as she deepened it and slowly leaning back onto the couch, pulling him with her.
